Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To attain efficient line scanning by switching plural scanning modes in one period of scanning with a scan control signal and scan mode information. CONSTITUTION:When a decoder 308 detects a scan start instruction, a counter 304 is driven and a PROM306 is addressed by an output line 113. When an address of the PROM306 is revised, the output is transmitted as a designation output of a line address from a data line 115 via a driver 307. The initial scan mode depends on the content of a storage register 305, the storage register 305 is revised by a control bit and scan mode information for scan mode switching of the PROM306 and the scan mode is changed.
