Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To perform air-fuel ratio control in a highly accurate manner as well as to improve drivability ever so better, by seeking for a compensating injection quantity according to a primary delayed quantity in the engine's load value detected by a load value detecting device, while compensating the compensating injection quantity upon adding or subtracting it to or from a basic injection quantity. CONSTITUTION:In time of engine operation, after calculating a basic fuel injection quantity at an electronic control unit 20 on the basis of each output signal out of a speed sensor 13 and an air flow meter 11, a tempering functional value Tn equivalent to a primary delayed quantity of load at every setting speed is sought on the basis of basic fuel injection pulse width (t) conforming to this basic injection quantity. In addition, calculation of DELTAT=t-Tn takes place whereby a value DELTAT having a correlation function on the fuel quantity sticking to a suction pipe's wall surface is found.
