TAPE CASSETTE

PURPOSE:To improve the portability and to facilitate easy store of a tape cassette by connecting separably a tape winding frame store housing containing a single tape winding frame from another tape winding frame store housing. CONSTITUTION:A tape winding frame store housing 2 which stores rotatably a tape winding frame 6 is connected separably to another tape winding frame store housing 24 which stores rotatably another tape winding frame 6a. A magnetic tape 28 is drawn out of the frame 6 and loaded between frames 6 and 6a. As a result, it is enough to prepare N units of tape winding frame store housings 2A having a size of about 1/2 tape cassette instead of a case where N units of tape cassettes storing two tape winding frames respectively are stored or carried. This reduces the store space down to about a half compared with a conventional case and improves the portability of a tape cassette. Both housings 2 and 2A can be handled in the same way as an ordinary tape cassette.
