ERASING DEVICE OF COPYING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To make a titled device correspond to plural kinds of machines whose erasing width is different, by a simple operation, by providing a movable partition plate in a casing, irradiating light from a light source to a prescribed range of a photosensitive body, and setting an erasing width. CONSTITUTION:When a projecting part 18b to fit of a partition plate 18 is fitted into a fitting recessed part 16h, and the partition plate 18 is fixed to a position shown by a full line, light from an erasing lamp 17 is irradiated to other part than a range l5 of a photosensitive body 1. Accordingly, the part within the range l5 is developed. Also, as for a machine kind in which a width of a transfer paper is a little narrow and it is necessary to take large an erasing width, the partition plate 18 is turned counterclockwise. Also, when the fitting projecting part 18b is fitted into the fitting recessed part 16h and the partition plate 18 is fixed to a position shown by an alternate long and short dash line, other range than a range l6 is irradiated. On the contrary, when narrowing the erasing width, the partition plate 18 is turned clockwise. In this way, this device can be made to correspond to plural kinds of machines whose erasing width is different, by a simple operation.
