PALLET TAKING-OUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:In the above device for drawing out a pallet having at one end thereof an engaging portion in a pallet storing shalf, to make the storing shelf compact by providing a draw member having at one end thereof an engaging member to be engaged with said engaging portion and adapted for transversely and vertically moving so as to draw out the pallet. CONSTITUTION:When a pallet 2 on a shelf portion 1a of a pallet storing shelf 1 is selected and the device is actuated, the taking-out device body 3 is moved vertically by a driving mechanism 15 until it is stopped at a position opposite to the selected pallet 2. Then, a feed screw 4 is rotated by a motor 6 to move a moving member 7 toward the shelf 1, and when a lever 12 abuts at the lower end thereof against a stopper 13, the lever 12 is pivotted clockwise about a pin 7d. As the result, a draw member 11 is moved forward to the right along a guide table 9 and, subsequently, elevated by actuation of a cylinder 8, until a pin 11a is fitted in a through hole 2a of the pallet 2. Then, keeping this engagement, the motor 6 is reversed so as to draw out and transfer the pallet 2 onto an upper surface 3b.
