Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain a wear resistant member having large high-temp. strength in the joint part thereof by providing a filler metal layer between the joint surfaces of a cermet alloy or sintered hard alloy and ferrous alloy and subjecting the joint surfaces to liquid-phase diffusion joining at the temp. below the m.p. of the ferrous iron. CONSTITUTION:The joint surface 2 of a sintered hard alloy 1 and the joint surface 4 of a member 3 made of a stainless steel are respectively polished and are degreased and cleaned with acetone, etc. Zr foil having about 20mum thickness is inserted in the joint part and the member is set in a hot press maintained under a vacuum. When the joint surfaces 2 and 4 are held for required time under and at prescribed pressure and temp., the Zr foil of a filler metal 5 diffuses to both of the alloy 1 and the member 3 and the joint part is securely joined. The wear resistant member having large high-temp. strength is simillarly obtd. easily at a relatively low temp. in the case of using Ni, Co or ferrous alloy contg. elements such as boron, silicon, etc. as the filler metal 5. |
