APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING FLATTENED RICE CAKE

PURPOSE:To make it possible to produce efficiently a flattened rice cake, by cutting a sheetlike rice cake placed on a plastic film to a specified length with the film in a process of conveying to a succeeding belt conveyor without using a dusting flour, and delivering the cut rice cake one after another. CONSTITUTION:A sheetlike rice cake 18 delivered from a rice cake flattening machine 6 at the conveying start end of a belt conveyor 2 is placed on a plastic film (13a) delivered from a forward film roll 13 onto the conveyor 2 one after another, and conveyed one after another. A succeeding belt conveyor 9 at a higher conveying speed than the conveyor 2 is provided in connection with the conveyor 2. Thus, the sheetlike rice cake 18 placed on the film (13a) without using a dusting flour is conveyed to the conveyor 9, and the rice cake 18 is cut with the film (13a) to a specified length and delivered in the above-mentioned process. No trouble is caused in the continuous operation, and the production of the flattened rice cake can be efficiently carried out.
