Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To maintain an exact aiming position and to perform multi-layer build- up welding by actuating the triaxial control part of a welding torch in accordance with the data on the aiming position of a welding torch by every welding pass. CONSTITUTION:When the aiming position of a welding torch for the 1st pass is inputted from an operating switch interface 19, a computer 16 outputs signals. Circuits 21, 22, 23 to which said signals are outputted operate a longitudinal sliding part, vertical sliding part and torch angle driving part which are triaxial control parts, thereby adjusting the aiming position of the welding torch. After the data which is displayed by an LED from a display interface 20 is checked, a start signal is inputted from the interface 19 to the computer 16. The computer operates a welding power source and a carriage driving part to perform welding for the 1st pass. The aiming position of the welding torch for the 2nd pass is then determined by viewing the bead shape of the 1st pass and the signal thereof is inputted from the interface 19. When a welding start is instructed, the carriage travels backward to perform welding back and forth.
