Zusammenfassung:	NEW MATERIAL:A pyrazole derivative shown by the formula I (R1 is H, or halogen; R2 is H, or lower alkyl; R3 is phenyl group, alkoxy, alkenyloxy, or alkynyloxy which may be replaced with alkyl, alkenyl, haloalkyl, cycloalkyl, halogen, etc.). EXAMPLE:3-Tertiary butyl-1-( N,N-dimethylcarbamoyl )-5-propionylaminopyrazole. USE:Useful as an insecticide. Effective for controlling insect pests, for example, insects belonging to the order Orthoptera such as Oxya yezoensis Shiraki, insects belonging to the order Dictyoptera such as Blattella nipponica Asahina, etc. harmful or unpleasant in agricultural and horticultural fields or with respect to public health. PREPARATION:A compound shown by the formula II is reacted with a compound shown by the formula III in a basic solvent such as pyridine or a solvent such as dioxanacetonitrile in the presence of a base such as pyridine, etc. to give a compound shown by the formula I .
