OFF-LINE COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To attain the reduction of overhead relating to the fetch of a coordinate data and recording of the coordinate data by providing plural temporary storage sections in an OFF-line coordinate input device. CONSTITUTION:When coordinate data from a coordinate input device 1 are stored one after another to a temporary storage section A6 and they exceed the storage permissible range, a storage area control circuit 20 outputs a permission signal 17 and an output signal 22 of a mode switching circuit 14 sets it to the read only state. The succeeding coordinate data are stored in a temporary storage section B7. Read permission signals 17, 18 outputted from storage area control circuits 20, 21 are ORed at the same time and start a recording/reproducing device 10 via a control circuit 25. The recording/repoducing device 10 reads the coordinate data from the temporary storage section A6 in the read only state via a processing unit 11 and records it to the recording/reproducing device 10. The operation is repeated by this state.
