TELEPHONE LINE CONNECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and economical telephone line connector by designing the device that a dial tone, a ring back tone and response of an opposite party or the like from a telephone line are listened to by a loudspeaker. CONSTITUTION:In transmitting data indicating an outgoing call from a terminal device 1 to an interface section 21 at first, a control section 22 detects it to control a telephone line outgoing/incoming call control section 25. A loop is formed by it and a dial tone is returned from an exchange, the tone is amplified by an amplifier 26 and listened to by a speaker 27. When the operator dials an opposite number, a ring back tone is listened to from the speaker 27. When the opposite party responds to it, the operator confirms it by the speaker 27 to operate the start of data communication thereby disconnecting the loudspeaker part. When data communication is finished, the operator returns a restoring signal to the control section 25 to open the loop to the telephone line.
