CONSTITUTION:1,4-Dihydroxynaphthalene (NHQ) is charged together with an alkaline alkali metal compound such as anhydrous Na2CO3 and water in an autoclave, the air in the reactor is substituted with CO2 gas, and the content is subjected to the carboxylation reaction at 110-160 deg.C under the CO2-pressure of 3-50kg/cm G for 30-120min under stirring.
