Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To contrive to increase the efficiency of a hot water supplying apparatus, by separating a hot water layer from a cold water layer and by accumulating heat in layer, by providing a cylindrical nozzle which is connected in the shape of T to a pipe to feed water into a tank, and which has openings at both ends in the vertical direction of a tank. CONSTITUTION:The cold water 10 flowing upwardly through a T type nozzle flows pushing aside a hot water layer 9 in the beginning of feeding of water, but it gradually drops its velocity under its own weight because its specific gravity is heavier than that of hot water, and stops flowing at the height ''hn'', that is the distance from the branched off point 15 of a T type nozzle 12. The upward flow of water 10 can be stopped by designing the upper part of a T type nozzle longer than the height ''hn'', which is the height that the water 10 can push up the hot water layer 9. The downward flow (a) of the water 10 increases its velocity, and the cold water 10 forms a layer in accordance with the increase of the rate of fed water, pushing out the hot water 9 from the T type nozzle 12. Then the water layer becomes thicker very slowly in accordance with the increase of the fed amount of water, pushing up the hot water layer located on the water layer.
