CLEANING DEVICE OF FOCUSING OPTICAL TRANSMITTING ARRAY OF COPYING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To execute simultaneously cleaning of both faces and simplify a maintenance by sliding a cleaning member on both faces of a light incident surface and an emitting surface of a focusing optical transmitting body array. CONSTITUTION:When a running member 3 is engaged to a rail member 2, and the member 3 is moved from one end to the other end of an array along the member 2, a cleaning member is stuck to the inside (the side opposed to the incident and emitting surface of the array 1) of plane blades 3a, 3b of the member 3, respectively. As for the cleaning member, a felt-like soft foam resin is desirable. The cleaning member is compressed by the incident surface of the array 1 and the plane blade 3a of the running member 3, and the emitting surface of the array 1 and the plane blade 3b of the member 3, and can remove almost completely contamination of the incident surface and the emitting surface of the array 1. The member 3 moves on the array 1 along the member 2, therefore, it is desirable to provide a handle on the member 3.
