Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To improve the operational efficiency of a power generating plant by providing a cleaning apparatus which is unaffected by operating conditions of the main system aside from an existing cleaning system so that efficent cleaning of an intermediate heat medium may be possible as the main system is kept operated. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning system which consists of a reducing valve 7, filter 8, adsorption tower 9 and tank 10 for cleaning an intermediate heat medium 12 that drives a low boiling point medium as an operating medium is additionally provided to the main system which consists of vaporizer 1, turbine 2, generator 3, condenser 4, fluid supply pump 5 and preheater 6. In such a plant, reservoirs 15A, 15B are provided for storing pre-and post-cleaning intermediate heat media 12. Both reservoirs are communicated through a communicating system 31, and the communication between the reservoir 15A and tank 10 is made by a supply system 35a and return system 35b. The communication system 31 is connected with a foreign substance removal system 38, which is connected with a clean oil pump 16 of the return system 35b, through a return conduit 39, and the return system 35b is connected with a supply system 40 of degradation retarding agent.
