Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To prevent an unreasonable force from acting onto a mast and sails by pivotally installing a pair of sails onto the both sides of a mast and engaging a link body pivotally installed onto the intermediate part of the sail and bent link bodies pivotally installed onto a pair of cylinder rods. CONSTITUTION:When fluid cylinder mechanisms 6 and 7 at the back of a mast 1 are extended at a same time, the top edges of link bodies 11 and 12 in bent form are turned to pull-in the link bodies 9 and 10 inwardly, and sails 2 and 3 are contracted. In extending the sails, an extended sail state is formed by contracting the fluid cylinder mechanisms 6 and 7. Since the contraction and extension of the sails are carried-out by the horizontal turning force by a pair of link bodies, downward application of an unreasonable force onto the mast and the sails is prevented, and the necessity of increasing each rigidity of mast and sails is obviated. |
