PRODUCTION OF MOLDING

PURPOSE:To enable easy discrimination of whether a primer soln. is coated exactly on a molding or not with the light emitted from the coating pattern by incorporating a fluorescent dye into the primer soln. to be coated on a prescribed pattern prior to coating of an adhesive agent on the base surface of the molding. CONSTITUTION:A long-sized molding material 11 which is continuously extruded from an extrusion molding machine 10 is cooled in a cooling trough 12 and is then fed in a specified direction by a molding take-off machine 14. A primer soln. 22 is coated along a prescribed pattern on the rear side of the material 11 by a primer quarter roll 15, and after the soln. is dried with a fan 16, UV light is radiated thereto from an IF lamp 17. Since a fluorescent dye is incorporated in the soln. 22, the dye emits light. Along which pattern the soln. 22 is coated is thus discriminated. The material 11 is then cut to a predetermined size by a molding cutter 18, and an adhesive agent is coated on the primer coated pattern whereby the molding is adhered.
