DEVICE FOR COATING PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE AGENT OF TANTATIVELY BOUND WORK PRIOR TO BRAZING

PURPOSE:To enable coating of an adequate amt. of a pressure-sensitive adhesive agent at the part of a work to be soldered with powdery solder by providing a mechanism which holds the work suppplied in a forward inclined attitude on one side and coats the pressure-sensitive adhesive agent, via nozzle, from the other side. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 6 is advanced to insert the top end thereof into the central hole of a work A which is supplied in a forward inclined attitude; at the same time, an operating rod 9 is advanced to roll a chucking pawl 13 thereby grasping the central edge of the work A between the pawl and a receiving member 14. A piston rod 7 is advanced at the same instant to seal the edge at the central hole and the outside peripheral edge of the work A respectively by the end face sealant 17 of a rotor 16 and the end face sealant 20 of a rotor 19. A motor 10 is run at a low speed to turn the work A by a revolving shaft 8 and a pressure-sensitive adhesive agent is discharged from a discharging nozzle 23 along the inside and outside peripheral edges in the annular clearance (c) of the work A so that the agent is coated along the inside and outside lines (e), (f) where blades (d) come in contact with a shell (a) and a core (b) by turnig of the work A. The motor 10 is then switched to a high speed run to spread the adhesive agent to the required parts and to remove the excess agent.
