Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To detect torque easily through simple constitution with high resolution by providing a mechanism part which is displaced axially in proportional to torque applied to a rotating shaft in its rotation direction and measuring its amount of displacement. CONSTITUTION:When the spindle 10 of a disk 16 rotates forward or backward when unloaded, a disk 14, the spindle 10, and the disk 16 rotate synchronously; and the axial displacement of the disk 14 is zero and the output voltage of a noncontact type analog displacement gauge is also zero. When load torque operates on the spindle of the disk 16, the disk 14, spindle 10, and disk 16 rotate synchronously and a coil spring 15 is twisted in the operating direction of the load torque. Consequently, the disks 14 and 16 rotate relatively by the load torque and the disk 14 moves up by the load torque through the cam of the disk 16 and a roller 18. Then, the amount of displacement of the disk 14 is detected by the noncontact type analog displacement gauge 18.
