Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make improvements in drivability, by setting a train of chevroned ground contact pieces to a tread part toward a tire peripheral direction, while making the direction of an outermost layer cord of a belt reinforced layer situated symmetrically to an equator surface conform with the sense of a ground contact piece line, and arranging these pieces so as to be crossed in chevroned form. CONSTITUTION:Chevroned ground contact pieces 10 are arranged on a tread part 1 toward a tire peripheral direction, and chevroned grooves 11 are formed at a specified interval symmetrically to a tire equator surface E. At this time, an open angle of each chevroned groove is set down to about 30 deg.-60 deg.. On the other hand, the cord direction of a turnup layer 5u of each of layers 5d and 5i of a belt reinforced layer 5 is made to accord with the direction of each chevroned ground contact piece and arranged so as to be crossed in chevroned form. With this constitution, driving force in a driving wheel and braking force in a driven wheel both can be improved individually, not to mention drivability for a vehicle.
