CONSTRUCTION OF SHEATHING WALL

PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of sheathing wall by a method in which the ground between master piles is excavated to the mountain side rather than the surface of a flange on the excavation side of the master piles, a reinforcing net is laid between the master piles, and a hydraulic spraying material is sprayed onto the reinforcing net. CONSTITUTION:The ground between master piles 1 is excavated to the mountain side rather than the surface of a flange 11 on the excavation side of the master piles 1. A reinforcing metal net 6 is laid between the master piles 1 in almost parallel with the ground with a spacing from the ground, and both ends of the net 6 are fixed by welding to the master piles 1 or held by driving temporary stopper pins into the ground. A hydraulic spraying material, e.g. cement mortar or concrete, etc., is sprayed until the net 6 is buried to form a sprayed wall 8. The ground of mountainous area can thus be protected by the formation of sprayed walls without the needs for cross sheet piles or embedding work.
