Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To protect a load machine against damage due to the transmission of an excess torque by composing to slip by a friction coupler at the initially set torque or higher. CONSTITUTION:A stator 1 is secured to a frame 2, and a rotor 3 is secured to a hollow drive shaft 4. A bearing 5 is inserted between the shaft 4 and an output shaft 7. Coil springs 6a-6c formed of elastic units transmit the drive torque of the shaft 4 to the shaft 7. The shaft 7 and the spring 6b are intimately engaged, and the shaft 4 and the spring 6a are frictionally bonded. When a load is applied to the shaft 7, the springs 6a-6c are twisted.
