SINGLE-COMPONENT PRESSURE-SENSITIVE COPYING PAPER

PURPOSE:To prevent a recording material itself from being colored, by a method wherein at least one of a microcapsule for a metallic compound and that for a ligand compound is constituted of a synthetic resin film, and an oil-absorbing pigment is used jointly therewith, in a chelate base pressure-sensitive copying paper. CONSTITUTION:At least one of the microcapsule enveloping a ligand compound and the microcapsule enveloping an organic iron (III) compound is constituted of a film of a synthetic resin such as a melamine-formaldehyde resin or urea- formaldehyde resin, and the microcapsules are applied onto a base by jointly using an oil-absorbing pigment, for example, an oxide, a hydrate or a carbonate of aluminum, zinc or the like, or acid clay or activated clay. An organic phosphorus base compound having a P-O...Fe or P-S...Fe bond, more preferably a complex iron salt of the organophosphorus compound with an acid of formula I (wherein R is an alkyl group or an aryl group; each of X, Y is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom) and Fe is used as an organoiron (III) compound.
