Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To save welding metal and to reduce welding strain by a method wherein in the case of the hollow nozzle blade comprising a combination of a rear plate and an abdominal plate, a V-shaped groove is formed on the side of the steam outlet port of the rear plate and the edge of one end of the abdominal plate is welded to the rear plate by fitting the edge of one end of the abdominal plate into the groove. CONSTITUTION:The V-shaped groove 17a is formed on the side of the steam outlet port of the rear plate 17. Then the edge of one end of the abdominal plate 1 is welded to the rear plate as at 4 by fitting the edge into the groove 17a. Thus, by the provision of the V-shaped groove, it is possible to save welding metal and to reduce welding strain.
