Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To melt and remove the base metal sticking in a long nozzle between a ladle for molten steel and a tundish in a short time in the stage of removing said base metal by using a burner provided with plural oxygen ejection holes into a circular shape. CONSTITUTION:Molten steel sticks and solidifies in a long nozzle for running molten steel from a ladle for the molten steel downward into a tundish and therefore a burner disposed with many oxygen ejection holes 3a on the circumference into a circular shape is used to remove said steel. A burner body 3 is attached by means of a lock screw 6 to an annular fixing metal 4, and is set by means of an imposing plate 5 on a long nozzle 2. Gaseous oxygen is fed through an oxygen supply port 8 in the rear part of the burner 3 to eject the oxygen from the many holes 3a, thereby melting and removing the steel base metal 7 sticking on the inside surface of the nozzle 2 in an extremely short time.
