Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To perform satisfactorily electrostatic painting by disposing a paint inducing body consisting of a conductive material having approximately the same shape as the shape of a substrate consisting of a non-conductive material in proximity to the rear side of the surface to be painted of said substrate and impressing a high voltage between the paint inducing body and a rotary head. CONSTITUTION:The paint supplied to the paint fluidizing surface of a rotary head 4 made of metal such as a rotary cup or rotary disc which is rotated and driven at a high speed is diffused in the form of a thin film by centrifugal force due to rotation. The paint is atomized by the high voltage impressed between the knife edge part 43 formed in the peripheral edge part of the head 4 and the substrate 1 and is scattered to the substrate 1, whereby the substrate is electrostatically painted. A paint inducing body 3 consisting of a conductive material having approximately the same shape as the shape of the substrate 1 is disposed in proximity to the rear side of the surface to be painted of the substrate 1 consisting of a non-conductive material, and a high voltage is impressed between the body 3 and the head 4. |
