DEVICE FOR GUIDING UP-AND-DOWN MOTION OF WINDOW PANEL

PURPOSE:To aim at a smooth up-and-down motion of a window panel with no play, by providing a guide member mounted to the window panel for guiding a slide motion of a guide track mounted to a door, so as to rotate about an axis perpendicular to a plane of the panel. CONSTITUTION:During sliding on a bent guide track 1, a guide member 14 is rotated in dependence upon curvature of the guide track 1 irrespective of manner of inclination of a window panel 2, and is slided in such a manner that an axis of a guide opening 17 is aligned with an axis of the guide track 1. In this manner, as the guide member 14 is rotated in compliance with the guide track 1, there is no possibility of the guide member being inclined relative to the guide track 1. Moreover, as a clearance (c) is not required to be provided, it is possible to greatly reduce play of the window panel. Further, as there is no possibility of the guide member 14 being inclined in dependence upon inclination of the window panel 2, an abutment force to the guide track 1 is not increased, thereby allowing the panel 2 to be smoothly moved upwardly and downwardly.
