MAGNETIC DISC DEVICE

PURPOSE:To decrease remarkably the turning start time and the processing time of the entire system, by providing plural engaging means between a center hub and a sindle. CONSTITUTION:The center hub 2 of the magnetic disc 1 is provided with four driving holes 2b at locations corresponding to four drive pins 3b of the spindle 3. In arranging a magnetic disc cassette on the spindle 3, the axis lines of the center hub 2 of the magnetic disc 1 and the spindle 3 are made coincident, and the center hub 2 of the magnetic disc is pushed on the spindle 3, then the four drive pins 3b are engaged with the four drive holes 2b while sliding the lower face of the center hub 2. Thus, the start time is reduced remarkably in comparison with that of conventional systems and the processing time of the entire system is reduced.
