Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent rainwater from staying in the upper surface of a cover member by covering the upper surface of a main body which is laterally stiff and longitudinally flexible with a soft cover member through retaining members, to always retain the cover member to be conical in section. CONSTITUTION:A cover comprises a main body 1 long in section, a cover member 2 made of rubber airtightly joined to both side portions 1a, 1b of the upper surface of the main body, and air 3 airtightly sealed in between the main body 1 and the cover member 2. Rigid members 11 are buried in the main body 1 at fixed intervals, and the surface portion of the main body 1 is formed of a rubber sheet in which reinforcing sheets 12, 13 are buried. In this arrangement, the main body 1 and the cover member 2 are flexible, so that the cover member 2 always has the central portion thereof projected upward to be conical. Accordingly, even if rainwater pours on the upper surface of the cover, water runs down to both end portions, not stays at the upper surface of the cover. The thus constructed cover can maintain a good covering furnction for a long time.
