Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:A novel ring-chain phosphorus nitride polymer useful as a molded article and processing material, having a ring-chain phosphous nitride compound in a chain, high flame retardance. CONSTITUTION:A ring-chain phosphorus nitride polymer shown by the formula [R' is lower alkyl; R is (substituted)aryl; n is integer]. The compound is obtained by reacting a compound shown by the formula R'2NP(O)NH2 with a dihalogenophosphazene trimer (e.g., dichlorophosphazene trimer, etc.) in a solvent such as dichloroethane in the presence of a base such as triethylamine, pyridine, etc. After an amine hydrohalide is removed from the reaction mixture solution, the solvent is evaporated, a solvent such as THF, etc. is added to it, and it is further, reacted with an alkali metal salt of an alcohol, phenol, etc.
