Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a coating composition having limited particle diameters and solid concentration, capable of forming a flexible film having low blocking, by subjecting a (meth)acrylic ester, ethylene, and a polar monomer to emulsion copolymerization under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:(A) 95-70wt% (meth)acrylic ester shown by the formula (R1 is H, or CH3; R2 is alkyl), (B) 5-30wt% ethylene, and (C) 0-10wt% polar monomer (e.g., alpha,beta-unsaturated mono- or dicarboxylic acid, N-methylolamides, glycidyl esters) copolymerizable with the components A and B are subjected to emulsion copolymerization in the presence of a stabilizer for emulsification and despersion at 0-70 deg.C using a radical forming catalyst, to give the desired emulsion composition having 0.01-2.0mum particle diameters of emulsion and 30- 65wt% solid concentration of emulsion.
