MAGNETIC DISC DRIVER

PURPOSE:To protect completely a lead wire from a magnetic head, even if a magnetic head shifts between tracks, by imbedding the lead wire from the magnetic head into a U-shaped groove provided in a carriage and providing a sub-carriage on it. CONSTITUTION:The lead wire 21a from the magnetic head 21 repeating forward/ reverse together with the carriage 8 is imbedded in the U-shaped groove 18b provided to the carriage 18, a sub-carriage 15 is provided on it, the lead wire 21a is extracted from a lead wire through-hole 15c of the sub-carriage 15 and connected to a device control board. At normal using, when a magnetic disc cassette 4 is extracted, although a pad arm 23 goes up and down around a shaft 24, since the lead wire 21a from the magnetic head 21 is not contacted with the moving part, stable operation is attained.
