CONTROL SYSTEM FOR GENERATOR

PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation and maintenance of a generator by providing selection means for instructing the selection of compensating calculations to calculating means for calculating the drop compensation or cross current compensation of a line resistance based on the detected voltage of the generator. CONSTITUTION:When compensating the drop of a line resistance, a switch 10 is closed, the amount [(1-K)XDELTAV] added with the value (-KDELTAV) multiplied by K by a coefficient unit 9 by the difference of VG-VS to the deviation DELTAV (VS-VG) between the set voltage VS and the detected voltage VG is outputted, and voltage control is performed on the basis of the output. On the other hand, in case of compensating the cross current, the switch 10 is not operated. Accordingly, DELTAV is applied to a voltage regulator AVR and controlled. In this manner, the compensation for the drop of the line resistance and for the cross current is facilitate, and a control system for readily performing the operation and the maintenance can be produced.
