STRIP COATER

PURPOSE:To perform coating excellent in the work efficiency of cleaning without the need to use a paint pan, by providing sealing plates in the vicinities of the both ends of a pick-up roll and a military roll along their axial directions, and a paint-supply part at the upper side of the boundary between the rolls. CONSTITUTION:A couple of sealing plates 8 are provided in the vinicities of the both ends of a pick-up roll 2 and a military roll 3 along their axial directions, so as to form a compartment C for letting paint temporarily stay in it at the upper side of the boundary between the two rolls 2 and 3. A means for controlling an amount of paint to be supplied to said compartment C is provided at the upper side of the boundary between the rolls 2 and 3. Hence, cleaning is performed with excellent work efficiency by the rolls only without the need to use a paint pan.
