AUTOMATIC FOCUSING DEVICE OF OPTICAL EQUIPMENT EQUIPPED WITH MANUAL FOCUSING OPERATION MEMBER

PURPOSE:To stop istantaneously a driving motor when a manual focusing operation member is touched with a hand, and to prevent an overload by provding a detecting and a judging means. CONSTITUTION:When a distance operation ring 7 is touched with a hand in the middle of automatic focusing operation, the pressure is applied to a pressure sensitive switch S2, which is closed. Consequently, electricity is conducted to an input terminal G2 of a gate circuit 14 and an operation command signal outputted from the output terminal Q of the gate circuit 14 to a driving circuit 11 is ceased to stop the driving motor 12. Therefore, such accidents that the hand is injured when touching the distance operation ring 7 in the middle of the automatic focusing operation and the driving motor 12 is overloaded are evaded securely. When the hand leaves the distance operation ring 7, the pressure-sensitive switch S2 is released from the pressure and a pressure-sensitive element 21 receovers its insulating property to return to its original release state, so a driving circuit 11 restarts operating to rotate the driving motor 12 to a focusing equivalent position.
