Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To machine the middle part of existing piping automatically by accelerating a tool supporting bracket in the centripetal direction along a fixed frame which is fixed on the outer periphery of said piping, in a device of machining piping used for equipment in an electric power plant, etc. CONSTITUTION:A fixing frame 12 is fixed to piping 10 through mounting and clamping bolts 14, 16, a slide shaft 36 is rotated by means of a motor 44, and a swinging frame 18 is rotated through a pinion 30. A the same time, the shaft 36 causes a tool shaft 56 to rotate through bevel gears 52, 54, and a grinder cutter 58 finishes a welded bead 66 under the accelerating force of a spring 60 and, when the amount of machining reaches a certain value, a limit switch 64 is operated to stop the machining. It is also possible to carry out cutting or edge preparation of piping by replacing the tool with other tools.
