METHOD FOR REPAIRING DIFFUSER PIPE OF FLUIDIZED TYPE INCINERATOR

PURPOSE:To omit securing of a working place, construction of scaffold and various kinds of cure required for replacing a diffuser pipe on the outside of a furnace, by carrying out operation for repairing the diffuser pipe on the inside of the furnace. CONSTITUTION:In case that a diffuser pipe 1 has caused wear at its portion L1 from a point P1 to a point P2, the defective portion is removed by use of a cutting means like a gas fusing machine, and a new pipe L2 having the same size as the pipe portion L1 to be removed is fabricated. This new pipe L2 is carried into a furnace and it is held in abutment with the points P1 and P2 of the diffuser pipe 1 by use of sleeves S1, S2. Then, the sleeves S1, S2 are welded to the outer surfaces of the diffuser pipe 1 and the new pipe L2. Here, since operation of removing the defective portion from the diffuser pipe 1 and replacing the defective portion by a new pipe is carried out while keeping connection of the diffuser pipe 1 with the branch pipe on the outside of the furnace, it is enabled to omit securing of a working place, construction of scaffold and various kinds of cure.
