Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent the unstability due to abrupt accelerator pedal operation from occurring by a method wherein an actual yaw acceleration obtained by a lateral acceleration sensor and a vehicular speed sensor is compared with the reference value and the movement of a steering mechanism is corrected based upon the result of said comparison. CONSTITUTION:A drag link 8 is connected to the output end of an actuator 9 actuated by a microcomputer 10. When the actual yaw acceleration is different from the reference value of acceleration, the microcomputer 10 sends a signal to the actuator 9 so as to move the steering mechanism in order to coincide the yaw acceleration with the reference value. Concretely, when the actual yaw acceleration is larger than the reference value, the front wheels 1 are turned backward, while when smaller, turned further forward. Detection data from three sensors 12, 13 and 14 are read into the microcomputer 10 in order to calculate the actual yaw acceleration from said data.
