LAMP FILM FORMING METHOD

PURPOSE:To form a film for preventing disperse of glass upon break down of bulb, by adhering ultra-violet ray sensitive resin on the surface of the bulb while rotating a lamp then carrying while rotating to harden the resin. CONSTITUTION:A linear fluorescent lamp 1 is carried by a conveyor 2 while rotating in the circumfeential direction to adher ultra-violet ray sensitive fluid resin 4 in a tank 3 entirely on the surface of a lamp 1. Then the lamp 1 is passed through an ultra-violet ray irradiating equipment 5 while rotating to irradiate ultrav-violet ray to harden the resin 4 adhered on the surface of bulb thus to form a film for preventing dispersion of glass upon breakdown of the bulb. Consequently the fact that ultra-violet ray sensitive fluid resin is hardened through irradiation of ultra-violet ray is utilized to form a film in continous process thus to enable mass-production resulting in improvement of productionability.
