CLEANER FOR RISER OF COKE OVEN

PURPOSE:To clean a riser of a coke oven with a simple mechanism and operation, by combining a frame work, a lift, a guide, a mast, a fixed gear, a satelite- shaped scraper bar and air spraying nozzle so that they may act in a specified way. CONSTITUTION:A frame work 5 is moved and positioned above a riser 2 and motors 9 and 20 are started to clean the riser 2 equipped with an opening cover 37. A mast 15 comes down into the ascending pipe 2 and continues to descend. As the motor 20 is started, a disc 22 at the bottm end is rotated as a result of revolution of an inner pipe 17, causing a satelite-shaped scraper 26 attached to the corner of the disc to rotate. Gears 27 attached to the upper end of the scraper 26 are in mesh with a fixed gear 29. Air supplied from a hose 35 wound on a hose reel 33 passes through the inner pipe 17 and an air supplying hole 31 and is sprayed from an air nozzle 23 at an ejection angle of 45 deg..
