Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain an injection containing vitamin C in a stable state, and exhibiting excellent drug action of vitamin C in the body, by using 3-O-glucosyl- L-ascorbic acid as an active component. CONSTITUTION:3-O-Glucosyl-L-ascorbic acid is dissolved as an active component in distilled water for injection at a proper concentration, and filtered to obtain vitamin C injection. The injection may contain the other component such as isotonic agent, etc. or used in combination with other drugs and untrients. Dose: 10-1,000mg of the active component per day. The 3-O-glucosyl-L-ascorbic acid used as the active component can be prepared by reacting 5,6-O-isopropylidene- L-ascorbic acid with an acetohalogenosaccharide such as acetobromoglucose in an organic solvent in the presence of a strong organic base such as 4-dimethylaminopyrideine, etc., and removing the protecting groups from the product.
