Zusammenfassung:NEW MATERIAL:The peptide of formula I (R is pGlu-Lys-Ala-Lys-Ser, pGlu-Lys- Ala-Lys-Lys, or pGlu-Ala-Lys-Lys) or its slat. EXAMPLE:pGlu-Lys-Ala-Lys-Lys-Glu-Gly-Ser-Asn-OH. USE:Antibacterial agent and antiviral agent. PROCESS:The peptide of formula I can be prepared, e.g. by coupling the protected constituent amino acids successively according to the conventional peptide synthesis method by a solid-phase process to obtain the compound of formula II (R is OH-protecting group; R is carboxy-protecting group; R is group of formula III, etc.; R is amino-protecting group), separating the protected peptide from a resin (e.g. benzhydrylamine resin), and removing the protecting groups. The coupling can be carried out in the presence of a condensation agent such as DCC in a solvent such as methylene chloride.
