Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve the measuring accuracy, by placing a magnetic sensor placed in a prescribed vessel so as to be opposed to a position where an eddy current induced by a main current of an electric conductor in other vessel attains minimum, in a current detecting device used for a gas insulating electric device. CONSTITUTION:Zero points of an eddy current Ia induced to the first vessel by a main current of the second electric conductor 4, and an eddy current Ib flowing to the second vessel 2 by a main current of the first electric conductor 3 exist mutually at positions (g), (h) of the nearer side than points (b), (e) on perpendicular lines 7, 8. When magnetic sensors 5, 6 are placed opposingly to zero points (g), (h), a magnetic field in the circumferential direction of the vessels 1, 2 is only a magnetic field generated by a main current of the electric conductors 3, 4, and the magnetic sensors 5, 6 are placed so as to be operated by only the magnetic field in the circumferential direction of the vessels 1, 2, therefore, the measuring accuracy of a current is improved.
