Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enhance cooling efficiency, and to enlarge the ranges of cooling temperature and cooling speed as well, by combining a rod-shaped laminar-flow cooling part and a film-shaped laminar-flow cooling part to constitute a cooling device of a hot rolled strip. CONSTITUTION:A strip 3 sent out from a final finishing mill 4 is quenched near to the coiling temperature of the coil 3 bya slit-laminar cooling device 9a, which uses a large amount of cooling water and has high cooling efficiency. Next, the strip 3 is sent to a hair-pin laminar-cooling device 9b and is cooled strictly to the coiling temperature, and then is coiled by a down coiler 5.
