PURPOSE:To prevent the warp and distortion of the laminate board by a method wherein coated paper or cloth impregnated with thermosetting resin and dried is laminated on one side of a thin laminate board prepared by heating, pressing and setting laminated coated paper or cloth and a copper leaf is laid thereon and heated and pressed. CONSTITUTION:First a few sheets of the coated paper or cloth are laminated to form the thin laminate board 3. On one side of this thin laminate board 3 is laminated the same or different kind of coated paper or cloth 1 which can be stuck to the board 3 and is impregnated with thermosetting resin and dried up to the aimed thickness and further the copper leaf 2 is laid thereon, and the laminate thus prepared is heated, pressed and set in the press to be formed monolithically into a laminate board one surface of which is plated with the copper leaf. Since the laminate board which is once set in this way undergoes the process of shrinkage accompanying the setting complety, it shows no shrinkage even under heat and pressure by pressing and, accordingly, the warp and distortion thereof are hard to occur.
