PRESSURE FIXATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of a streak of a form and to reduce noise, by providing a hydraulic loading mechanism consisting of a pressure spring which places a load on a pressure roll through a hydraulic piston and a bias spring which separates the pressure roll from a backup roll when the hydraulic piston compresses the pressure spring, and compressing the pressure spring by the hydraulic piston in a nonprint area of the form. CONSTITUTION:The form 25 is set between the pressure roll 1 and backup roll 2 and some of loading mechanism 6-10 are selected according to the form width to place a load on the form. In this case, the pressure roll 1 is loaded where the generation of wrinkles is least. Namely, when a selector lever 23 enters into between a cap 22 and a cylinder 20, the piston 21 is at a upper position and the spring force of the pressure spring 24 is not transmitted to a pressure bar 18; and the pressure roll 1 is separated from the backup roll 2 at slight distance by the spring force of a bias spring to load the form 25 securely.
