CONSTITUTION:The user of a computer 1A performs communication to users of computers 1B, 1C... with the electronic mail. First, the content of the mail to be transmitted is stored in a file 6 of the secondary storage device 2A of the outgoing computer 1A, and the control information of the mail is registered in a mail box 4 of the incoming user installed at the node processor 3. When the processor 3 receives the mail transfer request from the computer 1B of the incoming user, the processor 3 commands the transfer of the content of main for the computer 1B to the computer 1A and copies 11 the content of main in a temporary storage area 7 of the processor 3.
