Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To enhance productivity of a wire saw, by a method wherein a rotary drum with specimens fixed thereto is rotated at a high speed in a fixed direction, while wires are placed in parallel with the plane of rotation of the drum, the specimens and the wires are pressed against each other, and lapping is conducted by using an abrasive suspended liquid. CONSTITUTION:The wire 10 reeled out from a reeling-out bobbin 11 is passed through a tension adjustor 27, is wound several times at equal pitch along grooves provided in guide rollers 16, 22, 21, and is reveived by a reeling-in bobbin 12 through a guide roller 26. In a machining operation, the wire 10 is moved at a low speed in the direction of arrows (f)-(h) by motors 13, 14. On the other hand, a plurality of specimens 9 are fixed onto the outside peripheral surface of the rotary drum 3 by a jig 8, and the drum 3 is rotated in the direction of an arrow (a) by a motor 4. The plurality of turns of the wire 10 placed between the guide rollers 16, 21 in parallel with the plane of rotation of the specimens 9 are pressed against the specimens 9 by finely feeding a feed rod 23 in the direction of an arrow (b). Accordingly, the specimens 9 are machined by the abrasive suspended liquid supplied from a nozzle 28.
