DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE:To confirm easily an operation of a timer, by changing a color of display of a receiving channel indicator of a television receiver, when the timer is under operation. CONSTITUTION:When a one hour off timer operating switch 5 is set to ''H'', an electric power source is turned on forcibly, a transistor 17 turns on, a transistor 16 turns off, that which makes an output of a decoder driver 7 an ''L'' level among green LEDs 1-8-1-14 is lighted, and a receiving channel number is displayed in green. Also, when the one hour timer operating switch 5 is set to ''L'', a one hour timer 3 is put in an operating state, and a relay driving output (j) attains ''H'', and ''L'' after one hour, no current flows to a relay 20, and an electric power source of a television set is cut. When the one hour timer 3 is under operation, the transistor 17 turns off and the transistor 16 turns on, therefore, a current flows to red LEDs 1-1-1-7, and the channel display is turned to red.
