DIENE COPOLYMER CONTAINING AMINO GROUP

PURPOSE:The titled copolymer, containing butadiene, etc., acrylonitrile and an acrylate expressed by a specific formula in a specified proportion, and having improved oil resistance, fuel oil resistance, particularly solvent crack growth resistance and swelling resistace in highly aromatic solvents. CONSTITUTION:A diene copolymer, containing amino groups, and obtained by adding 30-89.9wt/ butadiene or/and isoprene, 10-50wt% acrylonitrile, and 0.1- 20wt% acrylate expressed by the formula (R is H or CH3; R1 and R2 are 2-8C hydrocarbon; X is 2-4C alkylene), e.g. diethylaminoethyl acrylate, and a polymerization initiator, e.g. a peroxide, an emulsifying agent, e.g. a surfactant, a molecular weight modifier, a mercaptan, etc. to a reactor free of oxygen, and polymerizing the monomers preferably at 0-50 deg.C.
